Description
This BMW EWS 3 immobilizer control module is a genuine OEM anti-theft component for BMW E38 and E39 vehicles. Primary OEM number 8382453. It is designed to read the transponder in the ignition key, check it against the code stored in the module and pass the start release to the engine control unit, so that the engine can only be started by a correctly coded key.
