Описание
This Mercedes Linguatronic voice control module is a genuine OEM electronic component for the Mercedes W220 and W215 models. Primary OEM number 2208205426. It is designed to recognize spoken commands from the driver and to convert them into control signals for the telephone, navigation and audio functions of the vehicle, allowing hands-free operation while driving.
Its job is to receive the voice signal from the microphone, compare it with the stored command set and send the matching instruction over the vehicle data network to the connected comfort and communication systems. A properly working Linguatronic voice control module supports safe hands-free operation, less distraction from the road and correct operation of the telephone and command system in these S-Class and CL models.
Common signs of a faulty unit include spoken commands that are not recognized, no response after pressing the voice control button, the system answering with errors, a telephone or navigation function that cannot be started by voice, or stored communication fault codes. When the module fails, the voice control function may stop working completely and the driver must use the manual controls instead.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 2208205426 before ordering. Professional installation is recommended, and a diagnostic scan, a check of the microphone and wiring and coding or voice training where applicable should follow installation.
