It communicates directly with the engine ECU and key transponders, permitting or preventing engine starting based on cryptographic key matching. ¶ Typical failures present as the engine refusing to start, the key not being recognised by the system, remote central locking becoming unresponsive, or multiple CAS-related fault codes stored in the vehicle’s diagnostic memory. ¶ Matches OEM specification for the vehicles listed.
