Description
OEM number 1742231, BMW, BMW E30 / E36 / E34 / E32 / E31 / Z3, coolant expansion tank radiator pressure cap rated 2.0 bar, genuine used and tested.
This 2.0-bar rated pressure cap seals the coolant expansion tank on the E30, E36, E34, E32, E31 and Z3, maintaining the higher specified cooling system pressure and releasing pressure through the built-in valve at the 2.0-bar threshold to protect the cooling system under full engine temperature.
A deteriorated cap that cannot hold the rated 2.0-bar pressure releases coolant at too low a pressure through the overflow outlet, lowering the effective boiling point and making the cooling system more vulnerable to overheating in high-load or high-temperature conditions.
Supplied in good used condition, confirmed against OEM number 1742231 before dispatch. Fits BMW E30, E36, E34, E32, E31 and Z3. 14-day return policy applies.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
